The Therapeutic Team is made up of many highly skilled professionals working together under the direction of the Rehabilitation Physicians. Our clinical team members have all experienced a variety of training and professional experiences — they are here to work with you and your family to ensure the best possible outcome. Here is a brief introduction to some of the staff you will probably meet:

 
Rehabilitation Nursing
The Nursing Team is led by the Nurse Manager: Sherry Oliveras, C.R.R.N., a board Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse. Nursing makes up the largest single group of staff working in the Rehabcentre. You will find Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Unit Secretaries. These professionals are available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to assist you with everything from attending to medical needs, dispensing medication, wound treatment, patient and family education to arranging for cots if family members will be sleeping over.

Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapy Team is led by a Clinical Supervisor: Shelly Kormondy, M.S., P.T. Among the Physical Therapy staff, you will find licensed Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians. With a focus on ensuring safety, this group is dedicated to assisting patients enhance their mobility, endurance, balance and ability to walk or manage a wheelchair. They will also work with you to identify and fit special equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers and other items that you may require.
