The Rehabcentre team of doctors includes Psychologists as well as Post Doctoral
Fellows. They are available to provide consultation and testing in addition to
psychological support for our patients and their families.

Daniel Sherman, PhD
Dr. Sherman has a psychodynamic clinical orientation with a focus upon the person and
his or her attitude towards life experiences. In practice for fourteen years, he became
a psychologist because of his interest in people and discovering what motivates them.
Dr. Shermans patients describe him as someone who listens and thinks carefully about
what they say. His philosophy of care is to assist individuals in setting their goals
and attaining them.

Dr. Sherman completed graduate school at Southern Illinois University and his
internship in psychology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Currently an
adjunct supervisor at the California School of Professional Psychology, he
completed postgraduate work at Houston VA Medical Center. Associated
with Harbor UCLA Medical Center and the Center for Effective Psychotherapy,
Dr. Sherman has a subspecialty in neuropsychological screening and
psychotherapy.

Tara Victor, PhD
Dr. Victor graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Clinical
Psychology. She is currently a neuropsychology postdoctoral fellow at Harbor-UCLA
Medical Center. Her previous experience in rehabilitation included a year-long
internship at the West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center with rotations in
Neuropsychology and at the Geriatric Clinical Center. Her primary focus is in
clinical and research neuropsychology with a particular interest in age-related
neurological illness. She has researched cognitive functioning as related to
diabetes and has submitted a paper addressing ethics and neuropsychological
testing. She looks forward to providing quality care to patients within the
Rehabcentre.
