length of stay efficiency is 2.36 for 2004. However, there is a significant range
in length of stay, with many patients staying longer, and some patients staying
a shorter period of time.
Types of Patients Seen: Patients admitted to the program

needs based on orthopedic, neurological or other medical conditions of recent

cognition or communication.
Exclusions: We do not treat children, complete quadriplegic,
comatose or ventilator-dependent patients. We will be happy to assist patients
or families of patients in these categories in identifying alternative resources
and programs.
Services Provided: The team consists of professionals from
Rehabilitation Medicine, Rehabilitation Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational
Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Activities Therapy, Social Services,
Psychology, Orthotics and Prosthetics (by arrangement).
Therapy Intensity: Patients participate in at least 3 hours of
therapy per day, Monday through Friday. Typically, there is an additional 1.5 hours
